Corgarff Castle
At the head of Strathdon on the Cockbridge to Tomintoul road, the castle is remote by most peoples standards. This image was commended by the judges in the 2009 UK Landscape Photographer of the year competition and features in the awards book.

Eilean Donan Castle summer
Even though it's the middle of summer, I still can't just drive past here without stopping to capture it... My viewpoint is far enough back for the many, many tourists not to impact the shot...too much.
