Mounted Prints

For your convenience, these are my most popular images printed professionally and mounted ready for framing in the frame of your choice. They are available in a standard range of sizes shown on the order form. Click on the thumbnail to see how the actual print area will look. If you see an image in my galleries which is not on the list below and you would like it as a mounted print, please contact me and I'll be happy to get it printed and mounted for you. It will take just a few days longer. You can also order window mounts of your choice of colour by special order.

Arrived on the banks of this calm little loch just in time to catch the last rays of the days sun lighting up Stac Pollaidh.

Duffus Splendour
A long exposure in the camera allows the yellow rape flowers to blur as they sway in the wind, whilst the clouds scud past overhead against an azure blue sky.

Dunnottar Rays
The rays of light emanating from a hole in the otherwise cloudy sky creates a fabulous spectacle at Dunnottar.

Findochty Fireball
The glowing ball of the sun slips below the horizon in the Moray Firth, providing some subtle light on the weathered sandstone rocks. The long exposure adds to the somewhat surreal scene.

Frosted Skene
A hoar frost has descended on the landscape during a harsh Aberdeenshire winter, truly a beautiful sight on a clear winters morning.

Lochan Urr
A glorious late summer scene at Lochan Urr which nestles in Glen Etive way below the rad as it drops down to the head of Loch Etive.

Loch Morlich sunset 07
A colourful winter sunset at Loch Morlich on the Rothiemurchus estate, there is barely a ripple on the water and the air temperature is well below freezing.

Milarrochy Bay
Lovely autumnal morning on Loch Lomond, a calm loch and the ragged mist clearing from the hills on the far banks.

Mellon Udrigle Sunrise 4

Light Beams 01
Beams of light escape through a hole in the clouds and illuminate the village of Luss on the west bank of the loch....just as the squall dropped its contents on me on the east bank!!

Muchalls Sunrise
Mid-winters morning at Muchalls, when the sun rose just as the moon was setting, and offered a glorious spectacle lasting many minutes. The long exposure I used softened the rough seas and added to the aura of calm.

Old Man of Storr 02
Sitting in the middle of the Trotternish ridge sits the distinctive outcrop of the Old Man of Storr.

Snowy Dunnottar
One of my favourite locations, this image captures the setting sun just picking out the castle ruins with a mantle of powdery snow.

Solitary Tree
The lone, skeletal tree stands proud catching the first rays of the days sun on a cold frosty November morning. Sadly this much photographed icon of Rannoch moor is no longer with us, having succombed the the rigours of a winter storm in 2011.

Troup Head Sunset 1
I spent a very pleasurable couple of hours sitting up here on the cliffs at the RSPB reserve at Troup Head, watching the Gannets soar and wheel, whilst the sun went slowly down.

The Moon and Me
The solitary figure gazing up at the moon completes the composition in a simple and pleasing way.

In the pre dawn light, the colours are at their strongest an hour before sunrise at this wonderful little beach at Mellon Udrigle in Wester Ross.
